Bring Comfort Through a Meal
When you volunteer with our Meals That Heal program, you’re doing more than cooking dinner—you’re giving families the nourishment, comfort, and connection they need during one of the hardest times of their lives. A warm meal means parents can take care of themselves so they can be strong for their child. It eases financial stress, takes away one more worry, and creates space for families to share a moment of community with others walking a similar journey.
Dinner is served nightly from 5–6 p.m. at the House and 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Volunteer groups of up to eight people are invited to prepare meals in our House kitchen. Groups typically arrive between 1–2 p.m. for a brief tour before preparing the meal. Our Chef, Stephanie Smith, will guide you in menu planning to ensure meals are both nourishing and comforting for our families.
By giving your time and care, you’re not just filling plates—you’re filling hearts. Sign up today and be part of bringing comfort and community to families when they need it most.
Individuals interested in serving meals at Wolfson Children’s Hospital can apply here.
Make a $750 donation, and our chef will plan the menu. All ingredients and supplies will be ready on-site when your group arrives at the House.
*Donations must be made at least two weeks prior to the confirmed meal date.
Your group creates the menu, and our chef approves it. Your group purchases all the ingredients and prepares the meal at the House under the guidance of our chef.
Purchase or sponsor a catered meal from a local restaurant. If you’d like, your group is welcome to join us at the House to serve the meal to our families. Catered meals are especially helpful on holidays and weekends.
