How You Can Help
Help Us Keep Families Close When They Need It Most
Each year, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville cares for more than 1,200 families. Our programs would not be possible without the generous support from our community. There are so many ways for you to join us in our mission from volunteering to events to our Red Shoe Crew. We hope you will join our efforts to care for families during their child’s illness or injury because healing happens together.
Planned Giving – You can give to Ronald McDonald House by setting up a charitable remainder trust, making a bequest or naming RMHC of Jacksonville as a recipient of your life insurance policy.
Pop Tabs – Collecting pop tabs is an easy way to give back to Ronald McDonald House. Set up a container at home, school or place of worship. Once it’s full, bring your tabs to the House and we’ll turn them into money at the recycling plant.
Volunteer – Volunteers are instrumental in making our House a “home-away-from-home”. Volunteer opportunities include assisting families at the House, caring for families in the Family Room at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, special projects and assisting at our special events.
Wish List – It takes a lot of items to provide for our families. Everything from paper towels and cleaning products to individual snacks to copy paper are needed. If you need it your house, we need it in ours too! Check out our Wish List!
Red Shoe Crew – Join our young professional group and help the families staying at the House. The Red Shoe Crew cooks monthly dinners at the House, hosts Fries With That Wine each September and helps to spread the mission of RMHC of Jacksonville in the community.
