Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville

Celebrating 35 Years of Providing a "Home-Away-From-Home" for Children and Their Families

Family Centered Care at Ronald McDonald House

Since 1988, Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Jacksonville (RMHC of Jacksonville) has been the “home” to over 40,000 families whose children are seeking medical treatment at one of Jacksonville’s premier pediatric healthcare facilities. RMHC of Jacksonville’s mission supports the health and well-being of children by providing lodging, meals, transportation and a community of care to critically ill children and their families who need to be near a hospital for treatment. Of the many illnesses children face today, RMHC of Jacksonville serves a significant number of families with neonatal infants and children diagnosed with pediatric cancer and heart defects.

RMHC of Jacksonville provides support to children seeking medical treatment at one of five local healthcare partners: Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, UF Health Jacksonville, Brooks Rehabilitation and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
